ON THE PATH TO PURSUE WISDOM – PROVERBS 2
- Wisdom Starts With God
For the Lord gives wisdom, from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Proverbs 9:10
God is the SOURCE of wisdom.
- Wisdom Leads To God
Then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. Proverbs 2:5
Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.” Matthew 16:17
We need to know God…to get wisdom…to know God more.
- Wisdom Will Protect You In-Between
Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse. Proverbs 2:12
Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. Matthew 7:24
Wisdom will save and sustain you.
